Automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Robotic Paint Specialist with exposure to 1 and 2 component paint systems. This individual will have experience programming paint robots (ABB, Fanuc & Motoman), troubleshooting paint applications (Pmix / Promix issues) including re-build and maintenance of paint systems; troubleshoot and re-build paint guns; maintain inventory of required spare components; participate in Preventive Maintenance activities; able to troubleshoot robot issues / PLC relates issues and to troubleshoot and correct paint pump and delivery related systems. The selected candidate should have a sound understanding of paint chemistry, should be able to communicate effectively with engineers and other technicians, possess the ability to train operators (including writing operator manuals) and assist and participate in equipment installs and paint jig design.
